Bus capacity directly affects the base rental rate, with larger vehicles generally costing more than smaller ones. However, for bigger groups, booking a 40- or 45-seater excursion bus may be more cost-efficient than arranging multiple smaller buses.
Trip Type and Booking Duration
Point-to-point transfers are charged per way, while hourly charters have a minimum four-hour booking. Longer waiting periods or full-day use will therefore increase the total booking cost.
Route and Number of Stops
A simple one-way transfer generally costs less than an itinerary with several pick-up points, drop-offs, or detours. Extra stops increase both travel time and mileage, while route changes after confirmation may also affect the final cost.
Travel Time and Special Charges
Timing can add directly to the cost. At A&S Transit, our midnight surcharges (between 11.59pm and 6am) are as follows:
- S$80 for 10-seater buses
- S$90 for 19-/23-seaters
- S$80–S$120 for 40- and 45-seater buses
Overtime, excess waiting, special venue parking, Sentosa entrance fees, or restricted-access locations may also incur additional charges.
What Is Included in the Quote
A&S Transit’s standard quotations generally include the driver, fuel, ERP charges, and basic insurance for the agreed journey, while parking may also be included for many local trips.
